presents Stefan Schöning
Hamburg, April 14, 2015 – For the first time, photo designer Stefan Schöning is exhibiting his works of the Big Apple in Hamburg, putting the artistic component of his work in the spotlight. The Satellite Office Business Center in the GUTRUF HAUS at Neuer Wall 10 invites you to an impressive photo journey to New York with the vernissage “NYC dayNight in black&white” on April 23 at 7:00 pm. During the exhibition, a photo donated by the artist will be auctioned off for the benefit of Dolphin Aid e.V.. The musician Birte Jessel accompanies the evening on her saxophone.
What makes a good picture? Creativity! Courage to take on new perspectives. The experience to wait for the right moment and the eye for the special. Stefan Schöning, who has been working as a commercial photographer in a wide variety of industries for more than 25 years, is not satisfied with anything less. Professional camera and lighting technology are the technical foundations for high-quality shots in his advertising photo studio or anywhere else in the world.
For Stefan Schöning, photography is not only a profession, but time and again also a search for clues away from the actual assignment. The series “New York” also shows moments and impressions of one of the most spectacular cities in the world. Schöning says: “There are many fascinating cities and metropolises in our world. They give me impetus, incidentally provide me with the creative fuel for my professional work.”
