Built around 1900 for the Bavarian Ministry of Transport, the building underwent a lasting core renovation a hundred years later. Architecturally, the Alte Hopfenpost is a unique ensemble of historical and modern elements - in fact, a part of Bavarian contemporary history. In the post-war period the building was used by the German Post Office, then in 1991 a modern component was added by the New Hop Post Office. After the turn of the millennium, extensive renovation began to restore the stately building to its former glory. Today, the Alte Hopfenpost presents itself with historical charm and one of the most modern business centers in Europe.
