Donner & Reuschel and Satellite Office give glamorous opening party in Hamburg’s first financial hub.
Ole von Beust will give the keynote speech at the event
The idea to develop a workspace for the financial industry came about through Anita Gödiker, CEO of Satellite Office and Marcus Vitt. Spokesman of the Board of Management of Donner & Reuschel Privatbank. Both brought the best of their worlds to the joint concept: Donner & Reuschel is at home in the financial world, Satellite Office has been the specialist for luxurious, flexible workspaces in Germany and Switzerland for almost twenty-five years. “Both companies went into the project with their respective strengths and created something completely new,” said Anita Gödiker, CEO and founder of Satellite Office. Marcus Vitt, Spokesman of the Board of Management of Donner & Reuschel: “At Ballindamm 27, we are together under one roof as two renowned and grown companies, thus generating synergies, short distances and a strong customer centricity within the financial sector. Together, we look ahead and profitably tap into the issues of tomorrow.”
With art, a high-profile keynote speaker and culinary delights, we celebrated Satellite Office Ballindamm 27 in Hamburg, our first workspace focused entirely on finance-related businesses. The event was hosted by Anita Gödiker, CEO of Satellite Office, and Marcus Vitt, Spokesman of the Management Board of Donner & Reuschel. In addition to Hamburg’s former mayor Ole von Beust, the guests included numerous prominent figures from business, politics and the media.
The two hosts stand as cooperation partners and idea providers behind the noble workspace that you have planned as a financial hub and implemented at Ballindamm 27: “Together we have created an ideal environment for companies from the financial sector under the umbrella of DONNER & REUSCHEL, a competence center that is intended to inspire entrepreneurs and companies to develop further,” says Anita Gödiker.
Players in the financial sector benefit the most, because the workspace under the roof of the private bank Donner und Reuschel has been completely adapted to their needs: 60 workstations on three floors, in a prime location, with a view of the city hall and the Binnenalster. Special security standards through double-secured Internet connections, ergonomically designed individual offices, team offices, sound-proofed Silent Cubes and Digital Dialog Rooms with state-of-the-art video conferencing technology invite discreet and concentrated work at the very highest level. In two meeting rooms with large wooden tables and in a stylish fireplace lounge, even very confidential meetings of two to twenty people can be held discreetly. This is ensured on the one hand by the luxurious interior design based on the PureSilent concept by Anita Gödiker, which focuses on absolute quiet and concentration while working. On the other hand, the fantastic view is inspiring – if you need a creative break, all you have to do is let your eyes wander.
No question that this ambience was also very well received by the guests. Another highlight of the evening, however, was the impulse discussion to which the former mayor of Hamburg, Ole von Beust, invited: The topic “Germany after the election” was discussed in detail, passionately and in all facets.
Matching the energy of the evening was the art: the works of Belgrade-born artist Siva are passionate and colorful bursts that creatively contrast the purist décor of the space. The interplay of art and culinary, lively discussions in a fantastic ambience and an audience that was grateful to be able to come together live. Speaking of live: the crowning finale of the Grand Opening Party was delivered by singer and ESC participant Michale Schulte with his live act and a real musical fireworks display. Hamburg at it’s best!
