International TV station shoots for and with Satellite Office – customer Laila Hamidi
Directly on Hamburg’s Ballindamm, Satellite Office has joined forces with the private bank Donner & Reuschel to create a flexible workspace that is unique in the world. With the idea of offering the FinTech industry a place that serves – and in this case even exceeds – their very specific wishes and needs.
Opened in June 2020, the grandiose location was now occupied for the first time by beauty entrepreneur Laila Hamidi, Satellite Office customer from Düsseldorf. And this event, an international TV shoot, had it all! Donner & Reuschel’s event rooms are located on the top two floors of the building. Equipped as they could not be more modern! Two almost white floors, similar to a studio, full of the latest technology and a huge video screen. Anita Gödiker, CEO of Satellite Office: “Technically modern equipment is not the right term in this case. Donner & Reuschel has comparatively installed a Boing! Everything that is available in terms of modern video technology, lighting and acoustics has been installed here! This location is only available for rent to clients of Donner & Reuschel and Satellite Office.
In combination with the luxurious fireside lounge and Satellite Office’s chic day office – with a direct view of the Binnenalster, by the way – the TV production had a location at its disposal that simply blew everyone away. Beauty entrepreneur Laila Hamidi used the fireplace lounge for team briefings and short breaks. In the day office, the photographers and cameramen were able to load, edit and send pictures in the highest resolution without any problems, thanks to the best WLAN. An incredible added value that saves a lot of time and nerves. Discreet behind-the-scenes conversations took place in the Silent Cube, the fine surroundings presented Laila Hamidi’s makeup line in the very best light.
From the planning to the execution of this important and exciting event, the Hamburg Satellite Office team was closely involved. Donner & Reuschel provided the event space. Both companies are thus supporting the social commitment of the entrepreneur Laila Hamidi, who is also campaigning for women’s rights in Afghanistan through her make-up line. It was an exciting two days for Satellite Office employees. As is usual with TV shoots, there was constant rescheduling at short notice, and the team was faced with completely new challenges. Laila Hamidi always had the perfect TV picture in mind and, with a lot of creativity and energy, steered a large team of technicians, hair & make-up artists, art directors, assistants and cameramen. The first event in the new financial hub on Ballindamm could not have been more dazzling!
