Installation Guide for Mesh Gutter Guards:Before You Start:Clean your gutters thoroughly before installing.The stainless steel mesh edges can be sharp—always wear gloves during installation.Method One – Tension-Fit (No Screws Needed):Tools you may need: ladder, measuring tape, gloves, wire cutters, and a small flat-head screwdriver.Starting at one end, bend the mesh into a half-moon shape along its long edge.Insert the mesh into the gutter channel, gently pressing it into place as you move along.Maintain a humped shape to allow water flow and prevent buildup.Use a screwdriver to make adjustments or lift sections for an even contour.The tension of the curved shape holds it securely in place above the gutter line.You can cut the mesh into shorter sections, or install continuously while moving the ladder.Method Two – Flat Mount with Screws:Tools you may need: ladder, measuring tape, wire cutters, gloves, and self-tapping sheet metal screws.Lay the stainless steel mesh flat on top of your gutter.Tuck one edge slightly under the roof shingles (if applicable).Use self-tapping screws to fasten the mesh to the gutter lip or edge.Work in sections, cutting the mesh as needed, or install in one continuous strip.
